A downloadable game for Windows
Waveform is a unique game written entirely in C++! Using SDF rendering and some artistic shaderwork, shapes merge and melt together in a trippy and satisfying experience. The world changes the second you look away...
This game was written with no game engine using the SFML graphics library for c++. It was also synthesized entirely within the time limit of the Adroit Game Jam 2026.
How to play: Move with WASD. Your goal is to collect as many qbits as possible without being 'disrupted'. If you overlap with a member of the red quantum field, they will disrupt your wave function and you'll need to start over. Clicking and holding charges up your ability to quantum tunnel, and tunneling through red quantum particles reduces them to their composite qbits for you to collect!

Download and unzip on a windows machine. Open "waveform.exe"

It was amazing to see this presented at the AdroitStudio Game Jam! To hear that this was made with no game engine, but instead coded entirely in C++ in a short amount of time was crazy to hear! Love to see what more you come up with in the future!
Thank you so much! I'm going to try and polish this into a full Steam release because of how much I like the SDF rendering style!
